Volunteer at the Regional Food Bank

Volunteers like you are essential to providing food for Oklahomans living with hunger

Through this on-site volunteer experience, volunteers like you sort, pack and prepare food for a variety of Regional Food Bank Programs.

Activities may include:

  • Assembling sacks of nutritious food for the Food for Kids Backpack Program
  • Packing Commodity Supplemental Food Program boxes full of food for seniors living on fixed incomes
  • Sorting and packing bread, produce, package meals and/or cans
  • Tagging bags
  • Cleaning

Because the Regional Food Bank’s inventory changes daily, the Regional Food Bank cannot guarantee volunteers who sign up to work in the Volunteer Center will pack and prepare food for a specific program.

The minimum age requirement is 8 years of age. All volunteers under age 18 must have a signed Parental Consent Form. All first-time volunteers signing up as part of a group volunteer shift must agree to our Liability Waiver before volunteering.  Please review our FAQs to learn more.
