Fall is nearly here. Children will soon be returning to school, and each of us will begin a new chapter filled with challenges, big and small. It’s an exciting time!  

However, families facing hunger aren’t able to enjoy the changes this new season brings. Thinking about buying school supplies and new clothing is extra stressful when you are working to put food on the table. A nourishing meal is a basic comfort that’s at risk in far too many households here in central and western Oklahoma. 

As we head into the last month of summer, please take advantage of our Food for Kids Matching Gift Campaign and double your impact thanks to a generous $315,000 matching gift from Masonic Charity Foundation of Oklahoma, Chesapeake Energy, Mark and Beth Brewer, Marathon Oil, Dolese Bros. Corp., Energy Transfer, David Gorham, and David and Lezlie Hudiburg. Every $1 will help provide 6 meals, which is twice as many as usual!
