Leadership Council
The Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma’s Leadership Council connects young professionals dedicated to community involvement and addressing hunger through engagement with the Regional Food Bank.
Leadership Council members commit to raising awareness about the issue of hunger, promoting the Regional Food Bank and supporting its vision of an Oklahoma where no one goes hungry.
To be eligible to join Leadership Council, you must first complete the Leadership Class program.

The mission of the Leadership Council is to provide leadership and support to the Regional Food Bank by promoting awareness, raising funds and engaging the community in the fight against hunger.
Membership is open to individuals who have completed Leadership Class, are passionate about addressing hunger in Oklahoma and are willing to contribute their time, resources and expertise to support the Regional Food Bank’s initiatives.
Members are expected to participate in monthly meetings, contribute to fundraising efforts, advocate for the Regional Food Bank’s programs and engage with the community to raise awareness about hunger in our state.
The Leadership Council typically gathers monthly during August-May through a mix of social and volunteer events. Additional meetings or events may be scheduled as needed to support specific initiatives or campaigns.
The Leadership Council primarily supports the Regional Food Bank by increasing community awareness about food insecurity and mobilizing volunteers to participate in various projects and events.
By engaging in advocacy, fundraising and volunteerism, the Leadership Council helps to ensure that the Regional Food Bank can provide food and resources to our neighbors facing hunger, ultimately reducing hunger and improving food security throughout the 53-county service area.
Yes. A $250 annual contribution is required.
To become a member, you must apply for and complete Leadership Class. Upon graduation from Leadership Class, members are encouraged to remain involved by joining Leadership Council.
