The PLATE Collective

Formerly known as Leadership Class, The PLATE Collective is the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma’s reimagined group of young professionals. This group still has the same passionate purpose but now with a brand-new recipe.

P – Professionals

The PLATE Collective serves as a platform for young professionals, ages 24 to 40, dedicated to community engagement.

L – Leadership

This group will help future leaders take a stand against food insecurity.

A – Advocacy

Members will be immersed in a deeper understanding of the root causes of hunger and how they can advocate for the needs of their community.

T – Time

Through this group, members will donate their time via a monthly meeting, learning about hunger education. Members will also have the opportunity to volunteer and engage in a variety of networking events.

E – Engagement

The PLATE Collective will learn how they can use their resources to help raise awareness, promote the Regional Food Bank and support the mission and vision through various activities.

Whether you’re looking to grow your network, deepen your impact or take a stand against food insecurity, The PLATE Collective serves up the perfect opportunity to make a meaningful difference: one connection, one cause and one plate at a time.

Upon successful completion of The PLATE Collective provisional year, members are encouraged to remain active as alumni. These members stay in touch by receiving quarterly newsletters, have access to exclusive networking opportunities and are eligible to serve as chair or vice chair for future classes.
