Help Stock  School Pantries 

Hunger must end before learning can begin.  Join the fight against childhood hunger by donating most needed  food items to stock the shelves at School Pantries for chronically hungry middle and high school students. Click here to download a flyer about the School Pantry Food Drive.

Most needed items for the School Pantry Program include: 

  • Canned protein items: chili, chicken, tuna, beans and salmon
  • Broth-based canned soup: chicken and noodle, stew and beef soup
  • Canned fruit: canned in water or 100% juice (not in heavy syrup)
  • Canned vegetables: tomatoes, green beans and mixed vegetables
  • Cereal: instant or regular oatmeal with no sugar added
  • Dry pasta: whole grain, veggie pasta or egg noodles
  • Granola bars
  • Heat & serve meals: ravioli, lasagna, spaghetti, meatballs and macaroni
  • Peanut butter
  • Rice: brown or white
  • Tomato products and pasta sauces: low sodium or no salt added preferred
  • Whole grain Cheerios, wheat Chex, Wheaties, granola or shredded wheat

Business or Organization Fund & Food Drive

If your business or organization would like to host a fund & food drive, please click here to signup online. Supplies (boxes, posters and sacks) are available for pick up at the Regional Food Bank. Click here to print a food drive poster.   Due to limited resources, the Regional Food Bank is no longer able to deliver food drive supplies.Once your drive is over, donations can be dropped off at the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Check in with  the receptionist upon arrival. If you have more than 500 pounds of food or items (5+ full Regional Food Bank Food Drive boxes), contact 405.600.3152 to arrange a pickup.

Through the Pack the Pantry partnership with the Oklahoma City Zoo and Botanical Garden and News 9, donations can also be dropped off at the Oklahoma City Zoo July 18 and 25.  Guests bringing at least one of the most needed items will receive half off admission. Learn more.

The Regional Food Bank hosts three community-wide fund and food drives throughout the year:

  • Students Against Hunger Fund & Food Drive (schools) – Fall
  • Feeding Oklahoma Drive (businesses/organizations) – October
  • Feeding Hope Fund & Letter Carriers’ Food Drive (businesses/organizations) – Spring
