Metro Restaurants Cooked Up Kindness for Kids
More Than $126,000 Raised for Regional Food Bank

OKLAHOMA CITY – More than$126,000 in net proceeds was raised last night at the 27th annual Chefs’ Feast for the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma’s Food for Kids program. Thanks to support from area restaurants and the community, 630 chronically hungry students will have access to food over weekends and school holidays.
“We want to thank all of the chefs, guests, sponsors and volunteers for helping us fight childhood hunger,” said Rodney Bivens, executive director of the Regional Food Bank. “We also want to thank Chef Christine Dowd from Aunt Pittypat’s Catering and Chef Don Thiery from Platt College for coordinating this successful event.”
