Thanks to the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma and its community partners, Oklahoma City Public Schools students 18 years of age and under can receive a free lunch and snack from seven sites around the Oklahoma City metro area during the district’s winter break. See a list os sites below.
Elementary school students who already participate in the Food for Kids Backpack Program in the Oklahoma City Public Schools will receive an extra bag of food to take home on the last day of school before the break starts. Through the Backpack Program, children receive a backpack full of kid-friendly, non-perishable and nutritious food every Friday to sustain them over weekends and school holidays.
