Oklahoma City – The Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma has opened a Disaster Relief Distribution Center at 2635 N. Shields in Moore. Individuals and disaster relief agencies can pick up supplies between the hours of 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. daily. The Distribution Center is stocked with shovels, gloves, trash bags, safety goggles, paper goods, diapers, personal hygiene products, snacks, packing boxes, water and Gatorade.
“We wanted to make it easy on disaster relief agencies and individuals to access supplies without having to travel too far,” said Rodney Bivens, executive director of the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. “Fortunately, we were able to secure the use of a facility close to the hardest hit area and have now stocked it with the most needed items.”
