Help Fight hunger in Oklahoma by raising food and fund donations for the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma! The Feeding Hope and Letter Carriers’ Food and Fund Drive is a month-long drive that encourages the community to join the fight against hunger by raising shelf-stable food, monetary donations and awareness of the hunger issue in Oklahoma. The goal of the Drive is to raise more than 2.5 million meals for hungry residents in 53 central and western Oklahoma counties. Sign up to participate in the Feeding Hope Food and Fund Drive, which runs from April 24 through May 19. Participate in the Letter Carriers’ Food Drive on Saturday, May 13. Fill the donation bag you receive in your mailbox the week of May 8, or any plastic bag, with canned food and leave it by your mailbox on May 13. Your letter carrier will do the rest! Most needed items include: canned meats, meat-based soups, canned fruits, canned vegetables, peanut butter, and rice and beans.
